Form Zone

 

Two different types of form can be created in the Form Zone.  The first, a 'General Form', is published in the Parent Message Centre and can be filled out when necessary by parents.  The second, a 'Workflow Form' is assigned to a group in an application, e.g. assigned to a particular sports match in the Sport Zone.  A 'Workflow Form' can be sent out when messaging the group, and only members within this group can submit a form response.

Certain event scenarios may require a limited number of tickets to be made available for parents on a first-come-first-served basis. The General Form ticketing option allows you set the maximum number of tickets available, and a maximum number of tickets that can be selected per submission. Once all tickets have been requested, the form will stop all submissions.

Once a user has submitted a form response, administrators can view their reply, and add notes against it – adding a number, a comment and marking it as processed. These notes are included in the export, and can also be viewed against the submission in the Form Zone when required.

Once created and built, forms need to be published to ensure they display correctly in the selected environment.


1. Ensure you are logged into the Staff Message Centre.

2. Click either ‘General’ or ‘Workflow’ in the Form Zone on the Dashboard.

General forms are created in the Staff Message Centre and can be assigned to display to particular user groups within ClarionCall. Parents associated with the assigned groups respond to these forms via the Form Zone in the Parent Message Centre. Any submitted replies are collated in the Staff Message Centre, where school administrators are able to view and process responses.

Workflow forms are created for use in specific applications.  For example, a permission form can be created for the Sports Zone, which parents must fill out when their child is selected to play in a sports match.
